IGCSE Chinese (Mandarin ) is designed on the assumption that candidates have about 120 - 140 guided learning hours per subject over the duration of the course. Guided learning hours refers to direct teaching and any other supervised or directed study time.
Chinese (Mandarin) for Kids
A Chinese course designed for kids aged from 7 t0 11. It covers elementary topics and knowledge that are useful for kids to develop communication ability in Chinese.
Basic Mandarin for Foreigners
A basic Mandarin course for expatriates who regularly travel in mainland China or Taiwan.
The beginner course is offered at 3 levels (for adult learners only), each of a duration of 5 lessons (once a week) or 10 lessons (twice a week).
The Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK) or Chinese Proficiency Test is China's only standardized test of Standard Chinese language proficiency for non-native speakers such as foreign student, overseas Chinese, and members of ethic minority groups in China. Development began in 1984 at Beijing Language and Culture University and in 1992 the HSK was officially made a national standardized test.
