German is the third most taught foreign language in the English-speaking world, after French and Spanish. It is one of the official languages of the European Union, and one of the three working languages of the European Commission, along with English and French. At the same time, German is the second most commonly used scientific language and the third largest contributor to research and development, as well as an important language in business and culture.
One-on-one private lessons allow the teacher to give more attention to the student’s specific needs and is particularly recommended for students having intermediate to advanced proficiency in German. Private tutoring is also a more flexible approach for those who travel often.
All of our German tutors are native German speakers from Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein, Switzerland and many other German-speaking countries.
How it works?
For all private and semi-private lessons, the following are usually conducted beforehand:
A test with the student(s) to assess their level of German proficiency in the four competencies of reading, listening, writing and speaking.
A meeting to discuss objectives (e.g. prep for TELC/ZD/German BULATS/IGCSE/IB/A-Level programs) of the lessons and set milestones in accordance.
Meetings can be arranged at your convenience. Please Contact Us about a week before to ensure that a tutor will be available to meet at your preferred time.
